Abstract

The US-China power rivalry is a complex geopolitical issue that has been evolving over the past few decades. It is rooted in a range of economic, political, and strategic factors, and involves competing visions for the future of the international order. At its core, the rivalry is driven by a desire for global influence and economic power. China has emerged as a major economic powerhouse, with a rapidly expanding economy and a growing global presence. The US, meanwhile, has long been the dominant player in the international system, but faces a rising China that is challenging its position. The rivalry has taken on a number of different dimensions. Economic competition is one of the most significant, with the US and China both vying for access to markets and resources around the world. There are also military and strategic dimensions to the rivalry, as the US seeks to maintain its dominance in key regions like the Asia-Pacific, while China seeks to expand its influence and secure its own strategic interests. The research is a qualitative analysis that explains the future prospects of US-China relations in terms of power statuses.
